Parks and squares: natural and urban corners
In Fuengirola, we are committed to creating green lungs in the urban heart of the city. More than 47 parks and nearly 429,000 square metres of landscaped areas make up natural spaces open all year round. These are true meeting points where you can stroll, exercise and play with children.
From the riverside park of Sohail Castle to the Gran Parque de La Loma, which includes a climbing wall and numerous football pitches, every corner invites an active experience. Some of them are designed for activities such as skating or feature outdoor exercise equipment. Others stand out for their landscaping and distinctive native flora.
Alongside the green landscapes integrated into Fuengirola are the squares that bring openness and harmony to the streets. The Plaza de los Chinorros is ideal for enjoying some tapas, while the Estrella del Mar square on the Los Boliches promenade leads to the image of the Virgen del Carmen, which is carried in procession on 16 July.
